Help Us Celebrate Female Ranger Week
We invite you to join us in supporting the courageous female rangers dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable wildlife.
Women in Conservation in Zambia play a crucial role in several aspects that are integral to the overall success and sustainability of conservation efforts in and around the National Parks and Game Management areas. We support several important organizations who train, hire and utilize the unique skills local Zambian women can bring to the valuable work of protecting wildlife.
This week we salute Conservation South Luangwa, Conservation Lower Zambezi and Zambia Carnivore Program for their success in implementing a vibrant women’s training program in conservation skills and hiring many local women to fill vital roles such as Park Rangers, Research Specialists, Environmental Educators and Teachers. This week we celebrate the women who have done the hard work of working in a field that have been filled entirely by men in the past in Zambia.
