You can take a personal role in our mission to help the children of Africa live healthy and productive lives while helping to educate them on the value of preserving their communities’ valuable resources.
Join a small group of friends (max 8) to work in our schools in the South Luangwa Valley of Zambia and enjoy an incredible safari experience. Working with our reading assistants and groups of primary students at one of our 7 Reading Centers in the mornings, you’ll return to the lodge after lunch to relax and have the opportunity to book optional late afternoon game drives, if you wish.

The Perfect Volunteer Experience!
Imagine sipping your morning coffee, (or tea) watching the sunrise on a deck overlooking a lagoon filled with hippos, crocodiles, birds, elephants, antelope, and if you’re lucky, even wild dogs! That is how you will spend every morning and evening during your 14 day stay at Njobvu Safaris near South Luangwa National Park in Zambia! You will spend each morning at one of our 7 reading centers helping the assistants with teaching small reading groups, doing puzzles, playing games and more. In the afternoons you will be free to go on additional game drives, check out the local village of Mfuwe, or just kick back and relax at the pool that overlooks the lagoon. Included in your price are 4 safari game drives that will take place on Sundays in one of the most amazing national parks in Africa. You’ll share comfortable rooms and all meals, 4 game drives and park fees are included. Price does not include international flights to Mfuwe.
You’ll also have the option to add 2 nights in Luxury Bush Camps at the Bush Camp CO in the national park. Or 3 nights at the famous Royal Zambezi hotel in the Lower Zambezi National Park and 2 nights at Victoria Falls Avani Hotel, which is within walking distance to the falls.
